The European Irrigation Association is hosting its Irrigation Forum on Oct. 8. The virtual forum is free and is open to all industry professionals and visitors who are interested in technology, sustainability and innovation in the irrigation sector.

The Irrigation Forum is a gathering event held twice a year with the aim to cover a range of relevant topics concerning the irrigation sector in Europe. In addition to the professional program, the forum also provides an opportunity to the participants to meet each other (this time virtually) and to strengthen their network with European colleagues.

Forum agenda:

  1. Introduction by EIA President, Moshi Berenstein
  2. Welcome to the new members, EIA Communication Officer, Fleur Martin
  3. Working Group updates: Presentation of the six Working Groups of the association by the leaders
  4. Guest Speaker 1: EU water policy – A call for adaptation, Adriano Battilani, Irrigant d’Europe
  5. Guest Speaker 2: The best planning for irrigation systems, Marcos Pérez Martinez, Phares Ingeniería Áreas Verdes S.L.
  6. Innovation & Technology session 
  7. Open session for Q&A

The conference will be held in English.
