According to reporting by the Sequim Gazette, organizers of the Sequim Irrigation Festival revealed the logo and storyline for the 2026 event during an unveiling on Oct. 18 at The Oasis Bar and Grill. The festival, now in its 131st year, will run May 1-9, 2026.

The tagline, “Let’s Go Sequimming!”, was selected by members in late 2024. This year’s storyline centers on a mythical Kraken welcoming visitors near the New Dungeness Lighthouse, tying the festival’s roots in irrigation to themes of community and celebration.

The winning logo, designed by Amber Tjemsland, incorporates imagery of the lighthouse and will guide the design of floats and other festival elements.
