When’s the last time you were able to take some time to slow down and really absorb some industry knowledge?

With the continual challenges facing those working in agriculture and irrigation during the past few years, it’s easy to just keep your head down and focus on the work in front of you. But growers especially should know better than most that a good crop needs pollination. You don’t get that without doing some outreach.

The 2022 Irrigation Show and Education Week is a great opportunity for you to grow as an ag irrigation professional and update your irrigation systems

The 2022 Irrigation Show and Education Week is coming up quickly, to be held in Las Vegas from Dec. 5-9. This is the perfect opportunity to meet up with other ag irrigation professionals and peek over the fence to see what’s working for others. Talk with others to find out how they are preparing for the implementation of the Inflation Reduction Act or what’s ahead with the 2023 Farm Bill.

There’s also plenty of professional education available geared especially toward what ag irrigation professionals need to know. Known as IA University, the agriculture track focuses on topics such as drip/micro and center pivot design, as well as the overall principles of irrigation. These courses are a great way to pick up your needed CEUs while brushing up on core irrigation techniques and skillsets.

The exhibit hall show floor will bring you up close with cutting-edge products and technologies, not to mention the 2022 New Product Contest itself. Find what you need to be able to take your irrigation system to the next level and improve efficiency when you connect with company professionals and get the product answers you need.

There are also plenty of options to unwind and reconnect with colleagues and friends, including the Viva Las Vegas Reception and a Craft Brewfest.

However you look at it, the 2022 Irrigation Show and Education Week is a great opportunity for you to grow as an ag irrigation professional and update your irrigation systems. Growers are able to attend for free, so make the most of this opportunity. Refer to the special insert in this issue or visit irrigationshow.org for more information.
