The American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE) announced its 2021 AE50 Award winners.  The AE50 Awards program celebrates product innovations in the areas of agricultural, food and biological systems.

From the numerous entries submitted each year, an expert panel of engineers selects approximately 50 products for recognition. The award-winning products are those ranked highest in innovation, significant engineering advancement and impact on the market served. The 2021 AE50 winners include machines, systems, components, software and services brought to the market for 2020.

The irrigation industry’s innovation was represented on the list of award recipients. Among the winners were Reinke Manufacturing Inc.’s Electric Swing Arm Corner (ESAC) for a center pivot and Netafim’s NetBow, a container irrigation multi-outlet dripper arc. Startup Autonomous Pivot also made the awards list.

The award winners will be featured in the ASABE’s Resource magazine in early 2021. The top AE50 Award winners will be recognized with the prestigious Davidson Prize, announced in early 2021.
