Husker Harvest Days showcases irrigation

More than 100,000 farmers and ranchers attended the three-day event that brought them up close to the latest irrigation products and field demonstrations.

Husker Harvest Days 2022 welcomed the agriculture industry to its in-field location west of Grand Island, Nebraska, Sept. 13-15. Held in the heart of corn and soybean country for over 40 years, the show draws producers from across Nebraska and the region.

Husker Harvest Days is the world’s largest totally irrigated working farm show, showcasing the biggest display of irrigation equipment and giving farmers and ranchers up-close access to see the latest irrigation products. Key highlights of the show include expansive field demonstrations, seminars and displays.

According to event manager Matt Jungmann, attendance was up in 2022 compared to last year.

“We had 106,000, up 3% over last year,” says Jungmann. “We’re almost back to pre-pandemic levels, so good news for the future!”

Jungmann reported that the show had 70 new exhibitors in 2022. “We’re really fortunate that our exhibitors use Husker Harvest Days as their launching pad for new technologies,” says Jungmann.
