IA kicks off Smart Irrigation Month

Annual July initiative promotes the benefits of efficient irrigation.

The Irrigation Association’s Smart Irrigation Month officially began on July 1. Smart Irrigation Month is a campaign that runs throughout July to promote the benefits of smart and efficient irrigation. This year’s Smart Irrigation Month theme is Smart Irrigation. Sustainable Solutions. and will focus on the solutions that irrigation professionals bring society.

The campaign officially kicks off on July 6 – Technology Tuesday, when those involved in the industry wear blue to show support and share photos on social media. The recipients of the annual IA Awards will be announced on Technology Tuesday.

The Irrigation Association provides numerous resources for download on its website for companies and individuals to use to participate in this annual initiative, including customizable templates graphics for social media, infographics with smart irrigation tips, public service announcement scripts and press release templates.
