Netafim USA will now produce FlexNet, the company’s piping solution for above- and below-ground drip irrigation systems, in Fresno.

Netafim USA, a subsidiary of Netafim Ltd. headquartered in Fresno, California, announced that FlexNet, the company’s piping solution for above- and below-ground drip irrigation systems, will now be produced in Fresno. The investment in local manufacturing enables Netafim to produce and deliver FlexNet to customers across the Americas more efficiently and provide growers with more custom configuration options.

Growers can now purchase the custom configurations to fit their farming operation and expect to receive their order within about 30 days.

“Netafim USA began its operations in Fresno over 40 years ago,” says Mike Hemman, president and CEO of Netafim USA. “Our dripline manufacturing presence in Fresno was our first step toward a long-term commitment to California’s Central Valley community. Our recent investment in a recycling center in Fowler, California, and this manufacturing expansion underscores our commitment to our local community, team members and the Central Valley agriculture industry.

“This investment was driven in part by global supply chain challenges. This expansion enables us to significantly reduce lead time and provide more flexibility to farmers. Our expansion will create more jobs and support our mission to provide farmers with innovative solutions that improve crop yields and reduce costs.”

“This expansion is a vote of confidence for our manufacturing presence in California and demonstrates our leadership in the irrigation industry,” says Kerri Birdwell, product manager, Netafim USA. “We’re thrilled to continue supporting growers with industry-leading irrigation solutions and a local manufacturing presence. It’s a point of pride for our team and a benefit to US farmers.”
