Semios' Crop Management Platform and WiseConn’s DropControl System have integrated into crop management platform Semios WiseConn Connect.

Semios, Vancouver, Canada, has integrated its Semios Crop Management Platform with Fresno, California-headquartered WiseConn’s DropControl System into Semios WiseConn Connect. The now-integrated crop management platform allows users the ability to monitor, plan and control irrigation activities from a single system with one login.

“The current state of irrigation technology provides growers with a lot of data, but they’re required to do extensive manual calculations and spreadsheet work to translate that information into an irrigation schedule,” says Neil Schultz, Semios product manager. “Then, they still need to direct people in the field to manually control pumps and valves to carry out the schedule. Now growers can get the answers they need without digging through all the data and can easily execute their irrigation plans remotely, all from one place.”

Semios customers can now get automated suggestions for ideal weekly irrigation schedules and publish them directly to the WiseConn DropControl System for execution.
