A 2021 Irrigation & Water Management Summit is planned for May 13-14 in Cape Town, South Africa. Virtual online attendance is optional. The event is presented through the Federated Management Institute.

This summit will consider the modern ways of irrigation and water management for food production. It will delve on the innovative use of water balance models in farm and catchment planning, the role of irrigation and water management in South Africa production, case studies of innovative irrigation management techniques and incorporating innovative water management science and technology into water management policy amongst other topics. It will also recommend ways for growers to improve crop performance by evaluating the different types of irrigation and water managements systems available.
