WiseConn, Fresno, California, a Chilean agricultural technology company, announced the closure of a round of funding in December 2022.

The capital raise will allow the organization to create “new equipment designs, artificial intelligence solutions for the efficient irrigation of fields, and other tools innovative for water scarcity in the face of climate change,” according to WiseConn. It will also allow the business to expand to Australia, Europe and Brazil.

“With this important financing, we will be able to expand our technology to more countries and promote strategic integrations with other players, in addition to expanding our commercial presence and customer support,” says Cristóbal Rivas, WiseConn’s general manager. “This will allow us to solidly accompany our current and future clients in the important challenges they face in the fields, marked especially by the scarcity of water. Farmers are adapting to meet the different needs of the population through technology.”
