The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Washington, D.C., has announced enrollment dates for key safety-net programs for 2025. Producers can apply for the Agriculture Risk Coverage and Price Loss Coverage programs from Jan. 21 to April 15 and for Dairy Margin Coverage from Jan. 29 to March 31.

ARC and PLC provide financial protection against significant drops in crop prices or revenues, while DMC offers price support to dairy producers to offset feed cost fluctuations.

“Our safety-net programs provide critical financial protections against commodity market volatilities for many American farmers, so don’t delay enrollment,” said Zach Ducheneaux, FSA Administrator.

Participation requires annual sign-ups even for existing contracts. For more details, visit a local USDA Service Center or the FSA website.
