World Ag Expo New Products Contest Winners 2022

The World Ag Expo announced the top-10 winners of its 2022 New Products Competition. The winners will be on display at the expo Feb. 8-10 in Tulare, California.

The following were crowned the top-10 recipients:

  • All Electric Class 8 Refrigerated Truck made by Hummingbird EV is a truck able to transport ag goods with zero emissions.
  • New Smart Autonomous Robot made by Naio Technologies is a robot that offers a sustainable, serviceable and smart farming alternative to herbicide usage for large-scale vegetable crops.
  • Clip Plugs made by Rain Bird that save water by allowing growers to close emitter outlets when using heavy-wall dripline.
  • E70N Electric Tractor made by Solectrac is a 100% battery-powered tractor designed for vineyard, orchard and commercial farming operations.
  • TJ Hoof Hub made by TJ Hoof Care is a mobile app where cattle hoof trimmers can digitally document all of their work, generate hoof health reports, manage their calendar and other virtual features.
  • Burro made by Burro is a collaborative robot that uses computer vision, GPS and AI to navigate autonomously alongside people while scouting crops and carrying produce or tools.
  • Mini Guss made by Guss Automation LLC is an autonomous sprayer for high-density orchard growers.
  • It Rover made by InsightTRAC is a robot that reduces pest populations and collects data to help crop production all while traveling down orchard rows.
  • Teatwand Parallel made by Onfarm Solutions is an in-parlor automated teat spraying system that can spray cows’ teats before and after milking.
  • Tule Vision made by Tule Technologies is an iPhone app that uses AI to permit users to take and track midday leaf water potential readings in grapevines, which the app then uses to provide data related to irrigation decisions.
